The Rectory Hotel Crudwell

The Rectory Hotel is a chic retreat hidden away in one of the many corners of the Cotswolds. Eclectic style, country food and amazing location.

The Rectory Hotel Crudwell is stunning 18th century country house, situated in three acres of private gardens with a private swimming pool and access to the Crudwell Church.

The Rectory Hotel is one of my favourite wedding venues! Not only is each of the 12 bedrooms individually styled with some having eclectic featured wallpaper; the main suite has a four-poster bed; and one of the rooms has an amazing large, stone fireplace. They are proper, country style bedrooms, with well-read books on the bedroom shelves and duck egg blue Roberts radios. The rooms are a wedding photographers dream, they’re large and light, with individual character and style. Creating the perfect backdrop for the preparation wedding photographs.

One of the other great aspects of the Rectory Hotel is its location. The grounds offer some lovely individual styled areas; such as a duck egg blue swimming pool changing area; or the secret hidden garden behind the hedges; and the colourful bird houses! Nestled in the heart of Crudwell village, The Rectory is also very close (within driving distance) to many fields. I’ve taken couples to these fields and produced some of the best couples wedding photography of my career.

The food and service at The Rectory Crudwell is also second to none. The staff are extremely attentive and the wood-panelled restaurant is a beautifully presented. Children, animals and slightly drunk wedding guests are welcome to lounge on the eclectic and individual furniture. Every room in The Rectory offers something unique and different, which makes weddings and wedding photography a joy to undertake.
